Why subscribe?

I still have my Livejournal from 2001, although I haven’t had the guts to look at it since 2016 which leaves a painfully cringey but mercifully hazy memory in my brain. I received a typo filled email from livejournal last year congratulating us on our 21st anniversary together, making livejournal my longest and most embarassing (but possibly most intimate and honest?) relationship. When I did a study abroad in college, I devoted my entire Livejournal to a photo archive of every guy I hooked up with while abroad. This was a journal that I kept completely public, with absolutely not an ounce of censorship, which in 2023 would be the most horrifying thing I could ever imagine. But in 2001, I only had six readers, so. I guess you could say I’ve lived a lucky life.

Anyway, now I’m a romance writer and romance podcaster (the Tall, Dark & Fictional pod) and also sometimes I write pop culture critique even though I have no business critiquing anyone or anything all things considered.
